Event: Arizona Alzheimer’s Consortium 2021 Annual Scientific Conference

Date: Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 8:45am – 3:45pm

Location: University of Arizona – Tucson

Dear Colleagues:

We are delighted to invite you to the 2021 Arizona Alzheimer’s Consortium Conference and are pleased to announce an extended deadline for abstract submissions.  To accommodate those who were unable to submit abstracts on time, we have extended the deadline to: JUNE 30, 2021.

With the updated CDC guidelines, we are excited about meeting together for our annual conference and encourage in-person attendance, with the understanding that we will be following the CDC and Arizona guidelines in place at the time we meet.  In the event you are unable to attend, we will provide a one-way virtual connection to hear the speakers during the conference.

We encourage (but do not require) all those submitting abstracts to attend in person if possible. Registration is required for attendance so please follow this link to register now if you have not done so already. SEATING IS LIMITED.

Based on the abstracts, we also plan to select 10 individuals to give short oral presentations instead of or in addition to the poster. Researchers whose abstracts are selected for an oral presentation will be notified by July 30, 2021.

You and your colleagues are invited to submit an abstract and give a poster presentation at the conference. Please fill out the online form below to submit yours.

Submissions must be received by midnight (AZT) Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

Researchers are encouraged to submit new abstracts, soon to be presented abstracts, or abstracts from presentations during the past year (but not presented at a previous Arizona Alzheimer’s Consortium Conference). Multiple abstracts are welcome. All abstracts will be included in the meeting booklet for distribution at the conference, and all submitters are invited to present a poster at the conference.

If you wish to submit an abstract, but do not wish to present a poster at the conference, please inform Cassie Martin at Otherwise, we will prepare for your abstract to be presented as a poster during the conference. The online form will allow also you to express your preference for:

  1. Poster only
  2. Oral presentation only
  3. Either poster or oral presentation

You will receive an automated email response for each abstract you submit. If you do not receive a response for each abstract, or if you have any abstract submission questions, please contact Michael Terrill (480.836.0330).

Registration is required for attendance so please follow this link to register now if you have not done so already. SEATING IS LIMITED
