Webinar Overview
The ability to detect and track subtle Alzheimer’s disease (AD)-related cognitive change at the earliest stage of disease has been a significant challenge for the field. While it is possible that AD-related cognitive decrements are only observed within a short interval preceding MCI, it is also likely that standard paper-pencil instruments and annual administration schedules are insufficiently sensitive to capture the earliest stages of progressive cognitive decline in preclinical AD. Computerized cognitive testing may improve this by allowing more frequent and more fine-grained assessments. This webinar will discuss how leveraging remote, digital cognitive testing provides the opportunity deploy previously understudied but promising cognitive paradigms that can provide novel insights into the earliest cognitive changes during preclinical AD.
